Data Architecture Manager

Overview

As an AI & Data Architecture Manager, you will lead teams in designing scalable data solutions and shaping roadmaps for client AI and data architectures. You’ll work within Accenture’s AI & Data Practice to deliver modern, AI-ready data platforms and guide customers through architectural decisions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor peers, and drive innovation with prototyping and proofs of concept. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge technologies and direct client interaction to create measurable business value.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of scalable data solutions using modern technologies
• Identify gaps in clients’ architecture and support solution development
• Shape strategy and roadmaps for client AI/Data architectures
• Provide ongoing architectural support across delivery lifecycles
• Facilitate client workshops and gather requirements
• Engage with clients to ensure deliverables meet needs
• Drive architectural thought leadership and share innovations
• Mentor and collaborate with more experienced colleagues
• Prototype new technologies and develop proofs of concept
• Establish strong relationships with client stakeholders as a trusted advisor

Key requirements

• Strategic thinker with analytical and creative mindset
• Keep up-to-date with emerging AI/Data trends and apply them to client opportunities
• Experience building AI-enabled data architecture
• Strong experience with one or more cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) with professional certifications
• Practical experience with AI/Agentic solutions
• Background in software development, data engineering, or data science
• Expertise in data domains: modelling, engineering, governance, data consumption
• Working knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake, Anthropic
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience in client-facing environments and architecting complex data solutions
• Experience leading technical teams and coordinating across project streams
