Senior ProServe Cloud Architect, AWS Professional Services, Global Financial Services

Overview

As a Sr. Cloud Architect you will lead enterprise-scale cloud architecture engagements for Financial Services, translating business needs into scalable AWS solutions. You will act as a trusted technical advisor to executives and engineers, shaping cloud adoption, migration, modernization, and AI/ML initiatives. You will mentor junior architects and contribute to reusable assets and best practices across the region. Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of enterprise-scale cloud architectures for FS customers
• Act as trusted technical advisor to executives and senior stakeholders
• Drive cloud adoption strategies including migration, modernization, analytics, AI/ML, and hybrid architectures
• Develop reference architectures, implementations, and proofs-of-concept to accelerate outcomes
• Mentor junior architects and raise technical bar across engagements
• Collaborate with AWS service teams to influence product roadmaps
• Contribute to reusable assets, frameworks, and methodologies for ProServe in the region
• Navigate regulatory, compliance, and data sovereignty requirements in financial services

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• Experience as a technical specialist in design and architecture
• Experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS or equivalent), systems, networks, and OS
• Strong proficiency in infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, data, containerization, serverless architectures, and modern app development patterns

• Excellent communication, able to present complex concepts to diverse audiences
• Strong stakeholder management and executive engagement (CTO/CIO level)
• Mentoring and leadership of junior architects
• AWS or equivalent cloud-based solutions
• Infrastructure-as-code
• CI/CD pipelines
