Responsibilities

• Lead strategic contract negotiations for supply chain, logistics, warehousing, transport and technology agreements
• Partner with procurement, supply chain and operations to provide practical legal guidance on strategic initiatives
• Deliver commercially focused, risk-based legal advice balanced with business objectives
• Advise on regulatory changes and industry developments affecting logistics and movement of goods
• Influence stakeholders to support effective decision‑making at strategic and operational levels
• Enhance legal operations by process improvements and overseeing external counsel when needed

Key requirements

• Qualified solicitor with 2-5 years’ post-qualification experience in a leading law firm or in-house environment
• Proven experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts with risk identification and practical solutions
• Business-focused mindset with ability to support business objectives while managing risk
• Project management and collaboration experience with cross-functional stakeholders
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong legal judgement and attention to detail
