Microsoft Power Platform Senior Developer

Overview

In this role you will be the technical authority for Power Platform delivery within MBG UK, driving solution quality and governance while shaping enterprise-scale platforms. You will collaborate with Delivery Managers and Solution Architects, and begin taking line management and mentoring responsibilities for junior developers. You’ll own complex Power Platform components across apps, automations, and Dataverse, contributing to high-value client engagements. This role combines hands-on development with formal leadership and technical governance in a leading Microsoft practice.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deliver complex Power Platform solutions across Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages and Dataverse for enterprise clients
• Lead technical delivery across one or more workstreams and own solution components end-to-end
• Develop advanced solutions with PCF controls, custom connectors and complex Dataverse models
• Architect and implement ALM pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions and Power Platform Build Tools
• Build and maintain integrations with D365 CE, M365, Azure services and third-party platforms via REST APIs, OData, Azure Service Bus, and Logic Apps
• Ensure solutions follow Well-Architected Framework and Accenture delivery standards
• Contribute to solution architecture design, data model, security architecture and integration patterns
• Lead technical design reviews, code reviews and architecture assurance sessions
• Enforce Power Platform coding standards and development best practices across the team
• Implement and manage CoE Toolkit configurations including environment strategy, DLP policies and governance frameworks
• Provide technical risk assessments and mitigation recommendations to Delivery Managers and Solution Architects
• Evaluate emerging Power Platform capabilities such as AI Builder, Copilot Studio and Microsoft Copilot integrations
• Line manage 2–5 junior and mid-level developers and support career development
• Onboard new team members and ensure consistent delivery standards

Key requirements

• Hands-on Microsoft Power Platform development in a consulting or SI environment
• Expert Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse experience
• PCF controls development with TypeScript/React and deployment via managed solutions
• Strong Power Fx, DAX and JavaScript/TypeScript for web resources and PCF
• Deep Dataverse data modelling, security and business rules
• Power Pages experience with Liquid templates and security
• ALM, DevOps and integration expertise with CI/CD pipelines
• REST/OData APIs, Dataverse Web API, custom connectors, Azure API Management and Azure Service Bus
• Azure services in Power Platform contexts (Functions, Logic Apps, Key Vault, Entra ID)
• Dynamics 365 CE customization knowledge (plugins, web resources, Ribbon Workbench)
• Enterprise governance and security familiarity (DLP, RBAC, auditing)
• Technical design documentation and architecture experience
• Client-facing communication and professional services experience
• Mandatory PL-400, PL-600 and PL-200 certifications; AI-200/AI-103, AI-901, AZ-400 are strongly relevant
• Security clearance: BPSS and SC with 5 years UK address history
