Transformation Consultant – Corporate & Institutional Banking and Lending

Overview

In this role, you will lead and shape complex transformation programs for Corporate & Institutional Banking and Lending at Capco in London. You’ll partner with senior client stakeholders to design target outcomes and executable roadmaps, delivering business and technology change across front-to-back processes. You’ll work across business, technology, operations, and regulatory domains to modernise operating models and platforms, with a focus on AI-enabled opportunities. This is a client-facing, leadership-heavy position in a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture with opportunities to mentor colleagues and grow capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Shape and deliver complex transformation initiatives across Corporate & Institutional Banking and Lending
• Lead client workstreams and engagements spanning business, technology, operations, risk, data and regulatory change
• Partner with senior stakeholders to translate strategy into transformation roadmaps
• Apply domain expertise in lending, transaction banking, trade finance, cash management, credit, client lifecycle management, and front-to-back transformation
• Support transformation of lending propositions and journeys across origination, credit assessment, and servicing
• Help clients modernise operating models, processes, data, and technology platforms to improve efficiency and performance
• Identify and shape opportunities to apply AI, including Generative AI and Agentic solutions
• Help clients take AI-enabled opportunities from concept to execution, considering value, data, technology, and risk
• Lead analysis and problem solving, delivering clear recommendations and client-ready outputs
• Build trusted client relationships and navigate complex organisations
• Mentor junior consultants and maintain high delivery standards
• Contribute to practice growth through propositions, thought leadership, and business development

Key requirements

• Strong experience within Corporate & Institutional Banking and/or Lending
• Expertise in lending, transaction banking, trade finance, cash management, or related areas
• Management consulting experience or equivalent in banking transformation
• Understanding of banking products, processes, operating models, and supporting technology
• Experience delivering diverse change projects in complex banking environments
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Experience leading workstreams or engagements in fast-paced settings
• Commercial awareness and ability to identify opportunities for growth
• Understanding of AI’s role in banking and lending, with ability to discuss practical use cases
