Senior Test Engineer

Overview

As a Senior Test Engineer in our Brighton-based Release Systems & Antennas team, you will lead and mentor engineers to deliver on-time test results for mission-critical aerospace systems. You’ll craft test plans and schedules, develop hardware and software test solutions, and drive airworthiness certification workstreams. The role blends hands-on test development with high-level project scheduling and collaboration across design reviews. This is a chance to shape testing capabilities for advanced release systems on global platforms.

Responsibilities

• Create Type Approval Test Plans to satisfy certification requirements
• Develop detailed Qualification Test procedures
• Conduct tests and prepare Qualification Test Reports for Airworthiness Certification (DDP/Certificate of Design)
• Support Internal and Customer Design reviews throughout the Development Life Cycle
• Provide analysis of test results and support trade studies
• Verify interface control documents and compatibility of interfaces
• Investigate and implement solutions to product, process or test problems
• Develop and implement hardware and software system level test programmes
• Design, develop and implement cost-effective testing and troubleshooting procedures
• Enhance and develop test facilities and capabilities
