Overview

In this role, you support the BRM team to grow Fitch’s rating coverage across EMEA by generating new mandates and strengthening existing relationships. You’ll craft marketing materials, deepen industry knowledge, and identify opportunities through market research. The position blends business development with analytics, enabling you to influence decision-makers at corporates, banks, and advisory firms. Responsibilities

• Support senior team members in developing and executing frontline marketing plans to generate new rating mandates and advance relationship development
• Create and update marketing materials (pitchbooks, case studies, tombstones, pricing studies, slides, technical content)
• Develop industry sector knowledge to generate persuasive marketing ideas
• Identify new transaction-driven rating opportunities with senior team members
• Monitor market activity using online platforms to inform marketing messages
• Download and manage large datasets in Excel
• Keep marketing materials up to date
• Prioritize workflows and adapt to deadlines with strong attention to detail

Key requirements

• Degree-level education (finance or business-related subject advantageous)
• Experience preparing marketing or business development materials using PowerPoint
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with ability to research, analyze, and interpret large datasets
• Experience with client relationship management systems (e.g., Salesforce) and generating reports
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently with supervision/guidance
• Proficiency in foreign languages may be beneficial
