Housing Standards & HMO Enforcement Officer

Cumberland Council in Workington is recruiting for an Environmental Health officer focusing on private sector housing. You will provide technical advice, investigate housing complaints, maintain case records, and lead HMOs licensing and enforcement under the Housing Act 2004.

We offer a permanent, full-time role with a salary of £44,253–£45,529 per year, 37 hours per week, plus relocation support to help you move to the area. Closing date: Friday 27th November 2026.
