Role Overview
We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer with strong test automation expertise and proven experience leading teams. You’ll combine hands-on technical delivery with team leadership, driving automation strategy and embedding quality across modern digital and AI-driven solutions. You’ll help teams evolve their testing approaches, explore opportunities to leverage AI and automation, and deliver reliable, scalable software in a fast-moving technology environment.
You’ll work closely with developers, architects and other technical stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle, helping embed quality into delivery from the outset. This role combines hands-on automation with technical leadership, team development and continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in QA and test automation, with the ability to work hands-on where required.
- Proven experience leading, mentoring or managing QA and test automation teams.
- Strong practical experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium or Playwright.
- Experience developing automation approaches, improving testing processes and promoting best practice.
- Ability to take ownership of testing activities and drive quality across complex software delivery projects.
- Experience collaborating with development teams and wider technical stakeholders.
- Full-stack development experience would be beneficial, particularly when testing across front-end and back-end applications.
- Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
