ROLE OVERVIEW
Are you a seasoned financial professional looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic clinical technology company? This role as a UK Financial Controller offers an exciting chance to take ownership of UK accounting operations, while also supporting group consolidation and financial processes. Offered on a fully remote basis for this growing UK based company, the position provides a unique blend of hands-on accounting and strategic financial management, perfect for someone eager to advance their accounting / finance career.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain the UK general ledger, ensuring accurate coding and complete supporting documentation.
- Own the UK close calendar and management-accounting pack, delivering accurate results within deadlines.
- Prepare the UK VAT return package and coordinate payroll inputs with the specialist provider.
- Support the US Controller with group consolidation, intercompany reconciliations, and statutory-to-group accounting adjustments.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or an equivalent recognised accounting qualification.
- Proven industry experience in UK GAAP/FRS 102 and UK VAT preparation.
- A working knowledge and practical experience with multi-entity, multi-currency accounting and ERP systems.
