Senior Analytics Manager – Compliance

Overview

In this Senior Analytics Manager role, you lead the EMEA Compliance Analytics branch within Wise’s Compliance & Internal Audit Analytics team, partnering with 2nd line Compliance across Europe, UK, and MEA. You’ll drive analytics to enhance regulatory reporting, monitor risks, and build automated data pipelines. You manage a small team while hands-on contributing to high-impact testing and monitoring initiatives. You shape the analytics strategy for Compliance, promoting data-driven insights and scalable tooling. This role offers the chance to influence regulatory outcomes at a global fintech scale.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Compliance stakeholders across regions, products, and domains to support regulatory reporting and risk monitoring
• Own the engagement model between analytics and Compliance for recurring reporting and automation
• Identify high-impact analytics opportunities within testing projects and upskill Compliance partners
• Define and track KPIs to measure team impact and success
• Champion data-driven insights across Compliance activities and drive innovation
• Lead automation and tooling projects to improve efficiency across Compliance

Key requirements

• 5+ years in data analytics
• 2+ years leading analysts
• Advanced stakeholder management
• Extensive SQL experience with ability to build/maintain complex data sources
• Experience with visualization tools (Looker, Superset)
• Experience with data engineering tools (GitHub, dbt, Airflow) and data documentation
• Understanding of data integrity, quality, and governance
• Ability to prioritise work and manage competing priorities
• Contribution to strategic roadmap
