Contracts Manager

Overview

In this role you will manage supplier and commercial contracts across DHL Aviation UK’s facilities and service providers, ensuring governance, compliance, and performance. You will work with internal stakeholders to deliver value, mitigate risk, and drive cost-saving improvements. The position supports operational excellence across the UK aviation network and offers opportunities to influence procurement and supplier strategy.

Responsibilities

• Manage full contract lifecycle from procurement to renewal/termination
• Foster relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Ensure contracts comply with policies, legal obligations, and regulations
• Monitor supplier performance against KPIs and SLAs
• Identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks
• Lead commercial negotiations for optimal outcomes
• Provide contract guidance to procurement and operations teams
• Maintain accurate contract documentation, governance records
• Drive process improvements in contract management
• Support business projects requiring commercial and supplier-management input

Key requirements

• Significant experience in Facilities Management, Engineering Services, Property Operations, or Contract Management
• Experience managing large outsourced service contracts and supplier relationships
• Knowledge of hard and soft FM service delivery
• Experience managing multiple sites in complex operations
• Track record of delivering cost savings and commercial improvements
• Knowledge of contractor management and compliance requirements
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and managing budgets and third-party spend
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation skills
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel
