Full-Stack Developer (AVP)

Overview

In this role you will help build Citi’s Securities Settlements Stock Record platform to scale for high trade volumes and improve data quality and reporting timeliness. You will work with cross-functional teams across NAM and EMEA to deliver technology solutions aligned with business strategy, balancing development speed with security and reliability. You’ll shape the platform’s software through full-stack design, cloud-native delivery, and strong engineering standards, driving real-world impact in global finance. Responsibilities

• Full-stack architecture & development for microservices and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot
• Frontend development of SPAs with Angular/React
• Relational database design and optimization (Oracle)
• AI-assisted development to accelerate activities
• Adherence to Citi engineering standards for code quality and test coverage
• Containerization and orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
• CI/CD pipelines automation and security scanning (Jenkins, Tekton, Harness)
• SDLC governance from requirements to production rollout
• Application security standards, RBAC, and vulnerability remediation
• Technical leadership, mentorship, code reviews, and documentation
• Independent collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and enterprise architecture
• Risk management and adherence to regulatory and governance frameworks

• Full-stack development experience
• Strong problem-solving in fast-paced, agile environments

• Java J2EE and Spring stack hands-on
• SQL and Oracle expertise
• System design and microservices architecture
• Event-driven architecture and distributed systems
• Trunk-based development, feature flags, progressive delivery
• CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Code reviews, vulnerability assessments, secure coding
• Cloud-native tech familiarity (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker)
• Kafka and Apache Camel experience are a plus
