Vice President, POM Product Management

Overview

In this role you will define and drive the target operating model for custody services, leveraging AI to enable scalable, compliant processes. You will partner with operations, technology and product teams to standardize global custody workflows while respecting regional nuances. You’ll lead transformation initiatives, embedding governance and risk control, and ensuring smooth implementation with minimal disruption. Responsibilities

• Define and implement the custody operating model, including process architecture, governance and ownership models
• Design end-to-end custody workflows across trade lifecycle, asset servicing, cash processing and reporting
• Lead transformation initiatives and transition roadmaps from current to target state
• Embed data ownership, risk controls, and governance with metrics and dashboards
• Coordinate across operations, technology, product, and risk to align priorities and implementation strategies
• Drive process optimization, automation and data-driven decisioning to improve STP and reduce manual work
• Ensure regulatory change alignment and minimal disruption to BAU operations
• Foster accountability and continuous improvement across custody organization

Key requirements

• Extensive experience in custody operations, operating model design or large-scale transformation in financial services
• Deep understanding of global custody processes (asset servicing, settlements, cash management, client reporting)
• Proven track record designing and implementing target operating models across multi-region organizations
• Strong knowledge of risk, control and regulatory frameworks affecting custody services
• Experience in Agile or hybrid delivery models and cross-functional delivery
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior levels
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking with ability to translate operational challenges into scalable solutions
