OTC ETF Operational Change Manager Director

Overview

In this role, you lead and shape Citi’s OTC/ETF Operational Change function to ensure delivery excellence across post-trade services. You’ll drive end-to-end change, governance, and stakeholder alignment for a portfolio of strategic projects. You’ll mentor a high-performing team and partner with Product, Technology, and clients to push automation, digitalization, and AI-driven initiatives. This is a senior, impact-focused opportunity to influence operating models and client outcomes at scale.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the OTC/ETF Change function
• Oversee process analysis, solution design, and testing for the project portfolio
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders, Product, Technology, and clients to enable strategic goals
• Lead and develop the department, including talent strategy, performance, and succession planning
• Manage senior client relationships and represent the department in governance forums
• Own operational risk and controls, drive governance, and remediation strategies
• Partner with Technology and Product to prioritise the investment roadmap and drive automation and AI initiatives
• Sponsor and deliver cross-functional transformation programmes across multiple workstreams
• Provide budget, headcount planning, and KPI reporting to senior management
• Oversee operational problem analysis and handle ad-hoc client/business requirements

Key requirements

• Extensive experience in Change Management or senior operations/product/business management roles
• Deep expertise in OTC Derivatives and ETF theory and practical application across asset classes
• Experience leading large teams and driving organizational change
• Strong track record in senior client relationship management (C-suite level)
• Design and execution of operating model transformations with automation/technology-led change
• Knowledge of OTC/ETF platforms and systems architecture
• Commercial acumen with involvement in business development or product strategy
• Analytical, organizational, negotiation, and prioritization skills; data-driven decision making
• Proficiency in MS Office; programming knowledge (Python, SQL, Java) and data visualization are advantageous
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in English
• Experience leading AI tool-enabled project delivery
• Understanding of BABOK/IIBA certification advantageous
