Product Owner – AI Products

Overview

As an AI Product Manager at Barclays, you will plan, deliver, and manage AI-driven products and features, shaping roadmaps and execution. You will translate business needs into product requirements, leveraging AI fundamentals, data analytics, and market insights. You’ll coordinate delivery with stakeholders using Jira and build strong relationships to support product success and continuous improvement. This role aligns with Barclays’ focus on responsible, data-driven product innovation at scale.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine product propositions and customer journeys aligned with strategy
• Define priorities and lead execution for product outcomes
• Assess feasibility, compliance, and risk in new product launches
• Monitor market trends and user feedback to iterate before launch
• Manage launch plans, deployments, and communications
• Track adoption, usage, customer satisfaction, and revenue against goals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives
• Provide guidance on AI-driven features and data analytics initiatives
• Support governance, risk, and controls to strengthen policies

Key requirements

• Proven experience in product ownership and end-to-end product management
• Experience using Jira to manage backlogs and roadmaps
• Experience in sprint planning and agile delivery
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Understanding or exposure to coding, Machine Learning, or AI concepts
• Awareness of how product decisions affect business value and outcomes
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority
