Management Consultant – Insurance

Overview

In this role you help define insurance industry solutions and drive transformational change for clients. You will build credibility with senior stakeholders, own industry-relevant projects, and collaborate across Strategy, Technology and Operations to deliver differentiated offerings. You will mentor junior colleagues and contribute to a strong insurance practice with a distinctive point of view. This role combines business insight with technology to solve complex client challenges and shape the insurance technology landscape.

Responsibilities

• Define insurance industry solutions and offerings to address client challenges
• Develop deep insurance expertise and credible client POVs
• Own and deliver industry-relevant projects and outputs
• Collaborate with cross-functional Accenture teams to create differentiated client solutions
• Grow and mentor junior staff within the Insurance practice
• Engage senior client stakeholders and partner with technology and operations teams to enable transformation
• Apply technology to solve complex business problems and drive innovative outcomes
• Contribute to shaping and delivering complex change in the insurance sector

Key requirements

• Experience in Personal Insurance, Commercial Insurance, London Markets, or Life & Pensions, especially Underwriting & Claims transformation
• Proven track record of building and sustaining relationships with senior insurance clients
• Digital technology experience applied to insurance use cases (e.g., cloud, analytics, digital sales/servicing)
• Market experience across Insurance Claims, Underwriting, Broking, London Markets, SME, Personal Lines, Reinsurance, Actuarial, Insurtech, Life & Pensions
• Excellent consulting, presentation and problem-solving skills
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to identify opportunities through innovative thinking
• Passion for innovation in the insurance industry
• Ability to engage with C-Suite or senior stakeholders
• Track record in shaping and delivering complex change
• Distinctive insurance industry point of view and knowledge of the Insurance Technology Landscape
