South West London | Stunning offices | Office-based
Top performers earn £80,000+ | Uncapped commission
Monday to Friday only — no weekend work
I am partnering with one of the UK’s most prestigious property advisory businesses to appoint a Business Development Consultant to its dedicated business development headquarters in Richmond.
Based in stunning South West London offices, you will join an ambitious, sociable team supporting the growth of the business’s residential sales and lettings operations. This opportunity combines exposure to the prime property market with substantial earning potential, structured training and the chance to build a long-term career within an internationally respected organisation.
With average first-year earnings of £50,000–£60,000, top performers earning £80,000+ and opportunities to earn commission while establishing your pipeline, the financial rewards are considerable. The role is exclusively Monday to Friday, with no weekend working.
About My Client
My client combines a distinguished British heritage with an extensive national and international presence. Its expertise spans prime residential property, commercial real estate, rural estates and specialist advisory services, with a reputation built on discretion, market knowledge and enduring client relationships.
Within its residential business, teams advise homeowners, landlords and private clients on some of the country’s most desirable properties. You will represent a respected name, work alongside experienced property professionals and benefit from a business that invests in training, professional development and internal progression.
The Role
Working closely with colleagues across a portfolio of UK offices, you will develop relationships with prospective, existing and former clients, identify their property requirements and generate opportunities for the wider business.
This is a proactive, telephone-based position requiring confidence, commercial judgement and consistent follow-up. Your ability to turn a conversation into a valuation appointment, and ultimately an instruction, will make a direct contribution to revenue.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Contacting prospective clients and reconnecting with previous customers to understand their plans.
- Identifying opportunities across residential sales, lettings and related property services.
- Arranging qualified valuation appointments for local property specialists.
- Building rapport with homeowners, landlords and high-net-worth individuals.
- Maintaining an organised pipeline, accurate CRM records and timely follow-up.
- Working with regional colleagues to help opportunities progress into instructions and banked business.
- Managing a daily target of approximately 70 outbound calls while maintaining a thoughtful, professional approach.
Success is measured through the quality of opportunities created and the revenue they generate, alongside your activity and appointment targets.
Package
The package rewards both your individual contribution and sustained performance:
- Average first-year OTE of £50,000–£60,000, with top performers earning £80,000+.
- Uncapped commission, with rates increasing in line with annual performance and the opportunity to earn up to 6% of qualifying revenue generated and banked.
- Early commission earning opportunities: during your six-month probation, commission is linked to departmental banking performance, enabling you to earn while developing your own client relationships and pipeline.
- £1,500 bonus for achieving your annual target.
- £5,000 award for the individual securing the highest number of instructions across the team.
- Further incentives throughout the year.
About You
You will be articulate, commercially motivated and comfortable initiating conversations. You will know how to listen, ask considered questions and build trust, while remaining persistent and organised when an opportunity takes time to develop.
Experience in sales, business development, recruitment, estate agency, telesales or another commercially focused customer-facing role would be valuable. Previous property experience is extremely advantageous, although full training is provided.
Benefits & Development
Alongside the commission package, you will benefit from:
- Monday–Friday working only, with no weekends.
- Structured onboarding and ongoing professional development.
- Career progression opportunities within a substantial international business.
- Generous annual leave, increasing with grade and service.
- Private medical cover, virtual GP access and life assurance.
- A company pension and employee rewards platform.
