Responsibilities

• Manage claimant-focused medical negligence claims, including catastrophic injuries (brain, spinal) and other areas (cardiac, orthopaedic, gynaecological, birth injuries, amputations)
• Contribute to strategy, case management, negotiations, and potential court advocacy across multidisciplinary teams
• Collaborate with the private client team to serve clients and ensure quality service
• Support the development of strong client relationships and maintain high professional standards
• Participate in a collaborative, supportive firm culture and contribute to a positive workplace environment

Key requirements

• 6+ PQE in medical/clinical negligence within a UK law firm
• Claimant-focused experience with a track record in catastrophic injury claims
• Strong technical and procedural knowledge in medical negligence litigation
• Excellent client management and communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative, non-political team environment
