Prime Finance Applications Support – Assistant Vice President

Overview

In Citi’s Production Services team, you will support the Prime Finance Application stack, ensuring stable, efficient production platforms for trading, sales, and operations. You will partner with global teams to resolve issues, monitor systems, and drive improvements that reduce incidents and improve service. The role blends technical depth with business collaboration, enabling safe, timely delivery of changes. This position offers exposure to Securities Lending and cross‑regional operations in a dynamic, global environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct user support for critical Prime Applications
• Support Prime business issues and incidents across the platform
• Develop, maintain and enhance monitoring solutions
• Manage requests from central ticketing queue during core business hours
• Onboard new systems for support and ensure platform operationality
• Deliver stability projects to improve operational processes
• Collaborate with development teams to implement proper change management
• Create proactive solutions to enhance system resilience

Key requirements

• Unix/Linux proficiency
• Advanced SQL and financial messaging tech (Solace, MQ, Kafka)
• Experience with databases (Sybase, MS SQL; Oracle/DB2 a plus)
• Monitoring and automation tools familiarity (Autosys, ITRS Geneos)
• Subject matter expertise for Securities Lending applications
• Understanding of external regulatory mandates (SFTR, Dodd-Frank)
