Overview

In this role you will support Citi’s global technology footprint from Belfast, helping to integrate and enhance critical enterprise applications. You will partner with multiple tech teams to improve stability and performance, while mentoring colleagues and guiding risk-aware technical decisions. The role blends hands-on problem solving with strategic impact, contributing to Citi’s mission of secure, scalable finance technology. You will work in a hybrid setup and engage with cross-functional teams to drive meaningful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with multiple technology teams to ensure functional integration and meet goals
• Identify system enhancements and analyze business processes and existing logic to propose solutions
• Assess and mitigate risks to application stability and performance
• Document requirements and define scope for complex, high-impact enhancements
• Maintain troubleshooting skills, diagnostic techniques, and logging practices to resolve issues
• Advise and coach junior analysts; provide technical direction to the support team
• Influence strategic functional decisions through clear communication and diplomacy
• Perform other duties as assigned
