Project Manager

Overview

In this role you will deliver infrastructure projects across Kent within education and corporate building portfolios, guiding initiatives from inception to completion. You will collaborate with cross-directorate and partner agencies, applying recognised project management methodologies to meet deadlines and policies. Expect a strong focus on exemplary stakeholder and communications management in a customer-facing position that supports the council’s objectives. This is an opportunity to shape delivery at scale within a progressive local government environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects within education and corporate building portfolios across Kent
• Plan, execute and complete projects from inception through to completion
• Manage stakeholder and communication activities to high standards
• Coordinate work across directorates and partnership agencies
• Apply recognised project management methodologies to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
• Ensure alignment with Directorate and corporate policies and procedures
• Operate in a customer-facing capacity within the Local Authority context
