Overview
In this role you will join a dedicated venture capital team within a boutique City law firm to focus on VC work for a range of early-stage and established companies, funds and investors. You will contribute to high-quality VC deal work and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a culture that values balance and inclusion. The position offers exposure to a visible practice area and opportunities to shape the VC offering within the firm. Responsibilities
- Advise on venture capital transactions for portfolio companies, funds and investors
- Manage deal execution, including structuring, due diligence and negotiations
- Draft and review transaction documents and term sheets
- Collaborate with the VC team and other practice groups within the firm
- Support business development and contribute to the growth of the VC practice
Key requirements
- 6–9 PQE
- E&W qualified
- genuine venture capital specialist with at least 6 years VC experience in a directory-ranked VC team
