Regional Engineer

Overview

As a B1.3 Licensed Field Engineer, you will certify maintenance and repairs on Airbus rotorcraft such as H125, H135, H145 and H160. You will work with the regional engineering team to keep the fleet serviceable and uphold Airbus standards on-site at line stations. The role is field-based, combining on-site maintenance with responsive support to customers. You will develop autonomy as you build relationships with clients and adapt to workload peaks, occasionally supplementing Oxford staff. This position offers practical impact by ensuring safe, reliable operations across the rotorcraft fleet.

Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance inspections and repairs on Airbus rotorcraft (H125, H135, H145, H160)
• Work independently within the regional engineering team to maintain fleet serviceability
• Manage customer expectations on-site and uphold Airbus standards at line stations
• Provide timely field support and troubleshoot equipment defects
• Travel to Oxford as needed to supplement staffing during peaks
• Report to Line Maintenance Manager with potential for greater autonomy over time

Key requirements

• Part 66 B1.3 Licence (Turbine Rotorcraft) with experience on Airbus Helicopters products
• Expertise in engine and airframe systems
• Strong UK CAA regulatory knowledge
• Excellent communication skills
• Type rating on EC135 T2/P2, H135, H145, H125, H160 (desired)
• Familiarity with Police and/or Air Ambulance operations (desired)
