The Production Support Analyst role is centred on providing technical and operational support for critical Energy Trading & Risk Managementplatforms used by Front Office trading teams. This position will act as a key point of contact for traders, operations, and technology stakeholders, ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of trading applications. A significant part of the role involves investigating incidents, troubleshooting complex trading system issues, managing outages, and supporting business-critical processes across the energy trading lifecycle.
Strong ETRM experience is considered essential, with preference given to candidates who have supported platforms such as Endur, Allegro, Aspect, RightAngle, TriplePoint, Openlink, CTRM/ETRM solutions, or similar commodity trading systems. The client is looking for someone that covers the end-to-end trade lifecycle across physical and financial energy markets, including power, gas, LNG, oil, and derivatives trading.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting trading applications, market connectivity, and production environments, with the ability to investigate and resolve critical issues while working closely with traders, risk teams, operations, and technology stakeholders.
- Strong ETRM/CTRM support experience within energy or commodity trading environments.
- Understanding of Front Office trading workflows, including trade capture, risk, scheduling, and settlements.
- Experience supporting physical and financial commodities such as power, gas, LNG, oil, and energy derivatives.
- Technical expertise across Windows, Linux/Unix, SQL, Oracle, and application infrastructure.
- Proven production support, incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis experience.
- Previous exposure to regulated trading or commodity market environments.
