Are you an experienced Deputy Manager looking for your next clinical leadership opportunity? We’re working with an established nursing home in Milton Keynes who are looking for an experienced Clinical Deputy Manager to join their management team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Clinical Deputy Manager who is confident overseeing the clinical operation of a nursing home and is ready to take on a key leadership role within a well-established service.
As Clinical Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Home Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the nursing home, with particular responsibility for clinical leadership, governance, compliance and the delivery of high-quality nursing care.
You will provide strong leadership across the nursing and care teams, ensuring residents receive safe, effective and person-centred care while maintaining excellent clinical standards throughout the home.
We’re looking for an experienced Deputy Manager who has already worked at management level within a nursing home or elderly care setting.
- A current NMC PIN with no restrictions
- Previous experience working at Deputy Manager / Clinical Deputy Manager level within a nursing home
- A strong background in elderly care and nursing
- Proven experience leading and managing nursing and care teams
- Strong knowledge of clinical governance, CQC, safeguarding and compliance
- Experience overseeing care plans, medication, audits, risk assessments and clinical standards
- Experience managing and responding to residents’ complex clinical needs
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A genuine commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
Deputy Manager-level experience within a nursing home is essential for this position. This isn’t a first-step management opportunity, so we’re looking for someone who is already confident operating at Deputy Manager level and can provide effective clinical leadership from day one.
