An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated property professional to join Cherwell District Council’s Property and Assets Team. You will play a key role in managing and enhancing a diverse property portfolio located across Cherwell, helping to maximise value and support the Council’s strategic objectives., You will hold a recognised property qualification and have experience working within a corporate property environment. Local authority experience would be advantageous, but we welcome applications from candidates with transferable experience from other sectors.
You will be an effective communicator with strong report-writing, stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills, capable of building positive relationships and delivering successful outcomes. Organised, proactive and solutions-focused, you will be confident managing competing priorities and identifying opportunities to add value.
A sound understanding of financial and budget management is essential, alongside a commitment to delivering excellent value for money and high-quality services.
