About the role
As a Talent Acquisition Consultant, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality recruitment across high-volume and operational hiring areas. Reporting to the TA Delivery Manager, you’ll manage end-to-end recruitment activity and build strong relationships with hiring managers.
You’ll support local attraction activity and use recruitment data to track pipeline progress, highlight risks and deliver against agreed hiring plans. You’ll make sure all recruitment activity is accurately managed through our applicant tracking system (ATS).
This is an internal-facing role with no customer-facing responsibilities.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for your allocated business areas, including vacancy briefing, attraction activity, CV review, candidate screening, interview coordination, offer management and onboarding handover
- Deliver against recruitment plans, managing expectations and giving clear updates on progress, risks and pipeline strength
- Support local attraction activity to reach relevant talent pools, improve candidate flow and strengthen direct hiring across priority locations and roles
- Use recruitment data to track pipeline progress, application flow and conversion rates, and highlight any risks
- Make sure the ATS is used accurately and consistently for all recruitment activity, supporting high-quality MI, compliance and effective pipeline management
- Work closely with the TA Delivery Manager and wider TA team to identify process improvements, improve candidate experience and support consistent recruitment delivery
- Support third-party screening activity where required, making sure checks are completed in a timely and effective way and escalating issues appropriately
- Act as the recruitment point of contact for your business areas, giving hiring managers practical advice, challenge and support throughout the process
- Contribute to team and department-wide projects, championing new processes, systems and ways of working where required
- Maintain accurate recruitment records, reporting and candidate data, keeping activity up to date and compliant with agreed processes
- Support a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability across the TA team

How we work
Our behaviours guide how we work every day:
- Think impact: Start with outcomes, focus on priorities and think about return, rather than being busy for the sake of it
- Own it: Be on the hook for delivery, make things happen and find solutions to blockers
- Back each other: Trust the experts, aim for the best outcome for the business and call out great work by other teams
- Push for better: Be ambitious about what we do and how we do it, look outside for inspiration and keep improving
