Senior Financial Analyst

Overview

In this role you support the UK & Ireland market’s planning and analysis, delivering value-driven insights to leadership. You partner with marketing and sales to evaluate launches and initiatives, while driving rolling forecasts and performance reporting. You operate within a fast-growing, global matrix environment, upholding internal controls and contributing to sustainable growth in dermatology. This is a hands-on finance partner role with a clear impact on strategy, efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Drive and implement the business strategy for a cluster of markets
• Support execution of UK&I strategies and ensure timely implementation of business controlling processes
• Lead rolling forecast for Sales and OPEX; coordinate brand-level forecasts and submission via PBCS; align with Global Business Services
• Review monthly Sales submissions with RIG/OG analysis and address exceptions
• Manage trade spend entries and accruals at month-end
• Review and approve purchase requisitions in Coupa to ensure budget adherence
• Serve as finance business partner to marketing and sales; support evaluation of new product launches, trade spend initiatives and KPIs
• Collaborate with Accounting for timely P&L submission in PBCS (inventory and samples reporting)
• Proactively conduct value-added analyses: trade spend, sales trends, COGS, customer profitability, functional expenses, NPV
• Ensure adherence to Galderma Internal Control Framework (GICFR)

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or related field; Master’s degree preferred
• Fluent in English
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role (Pharmaceutical/FMCG or consulting preferred)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, global matrix environment
• Strong presentation skills and proactive attitude
• UK GAAP and IAS knowledge (or equivalent)
• Experience with mainframe accounting systems and good IT skills
• Ability to meet strict deadlines
