Cyber Operations Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead a high-performing Security Operations team to strengthen resilience and security effectiveness while shaping the security roadmap with cross-functional partners. You’ll drive accountability, KPI-driven performance, and secure-by-design practices in a fast-paced, impact-focused environment. You’ll work closely with engineers, product managers, and leaders to deliver a robust security posture that protects customers and enables rapid delivery. This is an opportunity to influence security culture and scale security capabilities across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Security Operations team
• Act as Security Operations SME and escalation point for cyber security events
• Partner with security engineers, product managers and senior leaders to shape and deliver the security roadmap
• Drive technical initiatives strengthening the security control environment and operational effectiveness
• Lead technical discussions across engineering and architecture, promoting secure-by-design practices
• Build a culture of ownership, accountability and performance through KPI management and operational excellence

Key requirements

• Strong technical background in a relevant cyber security discipline
• Proven leadership within Cyber Security Operations
• Experience owning and improving a security control environment
• Experience recruiting, managing and developing engineering teams
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Technical credibility to influence engineers and justify decisions to technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to lead and influence technical discussions across a complex technology environment
• Collaborative leader who shares knowledge, seeks feedback and supports development of others
