Lead Document Controller – 6/12 Month Contract

Freelance Lead Document Controller | Outside IR35 | 6–12 Month Contract | London

I’m currently working with a renewable energy asset owner / IPP looking for a freelance Lead Document Controller to support their growing portfolio of wind farm and solar farm projects, with plans to co-locate BESS alongside their current assets.

They need someone who can assess their current document control setup, identify what needs improving and take ownership of implementing a more structured approach across the business.

The role will involve:

• Reviewing existing document control processes and systems
• Working with leadership to develop policies, procedures and standards
• Setting up and organising their cloud-based SharePoint system
• Implementing the new processes and ensuring they work effectively across the business
• 6–12 month contract
• Hybrid working – Paddington, London
• ASAP start

They’re looking for someone who can come in, take ownership and make an impact quickly, rather than simply maintain an existing system.
