The Supply Register is working in partnership with Newcastle College to expand our bank of Health and Social Care Lecturers. We are keen to hear from experienced lecturers and knowledgeable professionals who can teach across a range of health, social care and related subject areas. We are particularly interested in candidates who can offer flexibility across different topics and support the college when teaching cover is required.
The Role
Assignments will vary depending on the college’s needs and your subject expertise. Responsibilities may include:
- Delivering engaging lessons across relevant Health and Social Care subjects.
- Supporting students in developing their theoretical knowledge and practical understanding.
- Preparing lesson plans, teaching materials and learning activities.
- Assessing learner progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Adapting teaching to support learners with different needs and abilities.
- Maintaining accurate records and following college policies and procedures.
- Relevant subject knowledge, qualifications and/or professional experience.
- Teaching, lecturing or training experience in a relevant area.
- The ability to deliver engaging lessons and support learner progression.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- A flexible and reliable approach to temporary assignments.
- A commitment to creating a positive learning environment.
