Speech and Language Job Description

• Speciality -Speech & Language Therapist- Acute Inpatients & Stroke
• Location -South London
• Start date -ASAP
• Contract Length -Ongoing
• Pay Rates -£30-35 per hour
• Hours: Part-time or full-time
• Globe Locums is recruiting a locum Speech and Language Therapist to support young people within mainstream secondary education.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and manage speech, language and communication needs.
• Deliver interventions supporting language, social communication and access to learning.
• Help pupils develop communication skills for independence and everyday life.
• Work with teachers and SENCOs to implement classroom strategies.
• Contribute to EHCP provision, reports and reviews as required.

Requirements

• 1 year(s) post graduate experience
• Valid Passport/Visa
• Fully compliant and cleared to work
• DBS or Police Check
• HCPC Registered
• HCPC registration and experience supporting school-aged children or adolescents with communication needs.
