The role combines detailed credit assessment with commercial responsibility, relationship management and exposure to international transactions across corporate and sovereign lending, trade finance, structured commodity finance, and fund and asset-based finance.

You will:

  • Assess credit risk across investment grade, high yield and leveraged transactions.
  • Originate, negotiate and execute profitable political and financial risk insurance business.
  • Build relationships with brokers, clients and other market partners.

  • Support restructuring discussions and help develop junior colleagues’ credit analysis skills.

You’ll bring substantial credit analysis experience from banking or a related financial institution, strong financial judgement and the confidence to explain and defend your recommendations.

Experience in corporate or sovereign credit, structured finance, trade finance or asset-based lending will be particularly relevant.

Alongside your analytical strengths, you’ll enjoy building relationships, negotiating and balancing risk with commercial opportunity. This is a role for someone who wants to contribute to business decisions and take responsibility for outcomes.
