In-House IP Rights & Governance Manager – London

We are working with a global leader in the mobility industry who are seeking an In-House IP Rights & Governance Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.What are the skills requirements for this role? It’s essential for you to have proven experience in IP management, governance, document control, and compliance. Additionally, you’ll need a demonstratable understanding of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), including patents, trade marks, designs, copyright, and licensing. Preferred qualifications include: an engineering, IP, or data management degree.

• Establishing and maintaining IPR governance frameworks, policies, procedures, and controls.
• Ensuring IP is correctly identified, classified, recorded, and managed throughout its lifecycle.
• Providing governance reporting, maintaining audit-ready records.
• Working closely with the relevant teams to manage IP-related risks and obligations.
• Monitoring compliance with contractual obligations relating to IP ownership, licensing, usage, and deliverables.
• Overseeing document control.
