Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week Shifts: Rotating 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm

On behalf of our client, we’re looking for a QC Laboratory Analyst to join a busy manufacturing environment, carrying out quality control testing on bulk liquids and finished products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory testing in line with specifications and approved methods.
• Interpret and accurately report analytical results.
• Investigate out-of-specification results, liaising with Technical and Manufacturing teams.
• Release bulk products for filling and support production schedules.
• Calibrate laboratory equipment and assist with equipment validation.
• Prepare laboratory reagents and maintain samples, records and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP and health and safety requirements.

Requirements:

• HNC in Chemistry with 2-3 years’ relevant experience, or a Chemistry degree with 1-2 years’ experience.
• Practical experience using analytical equipment, including titrators, moisture analysers, UV/IR spectroscopy or fluorimeters.
• Knowledge of GC and HPLC.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and the ability to interpret data accurately.
• Good communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
