Are you an experienced CNC machinist or programmer looking to take your career in a more customer-focused direction?
We are looking for an apprentice-trained CNC professional to join a technical team supporting customers across the UK. This role would suit someone with a strong background in CNC programming and machining who enjoys problem-solving, sharing technical knowledge and helping others get the best from their equipment.
Experience across both turning and milling would be advantageous.
Key requirements:
- A minimum four-year apprenticeship in an engineering discipline.
- Proven CNC programming and machining experience.
- A confident understanding of machine tools and machining processes.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with customers.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to technical challenges.
- The flexibility to travel nationwide and stay away overnight when required.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver training to customers on the operation and capabilities of a range of CNC machine tools.
- Support customers in understanding their equipment and making the most of its capabilities.
- Demonstrate machinery to prospective customers and existing clients.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and help customers identify effective solutions.
- Provide applications advice and technical support when required.
- Gather customer feedback and report recurring issues to support continuous improvement.
- Recommend machining process improvements to increase efficiency, productivity and cost-effectiveness.

Additional information
