DriveStaff Recruitment are currently recruiting an *experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers* for an ongoing position based in *Morecambe*.
This is a genuine *Temp to Perm opportunity*, with the potential to secure a permanent position with the client following a successful *12-week period*.
The Role
You will be carrying out *UK nationwide furniture deliveries*, including deliveries to retail locations and residential addresses. *Residential deliveries will be carried out as two-person deliveries.*
The role involves *Monday to Friday tramping throughout the UK*, with regular nights out during the working week and returning home for the weekend.
This position would suit an experienced Class 1 driver looking for consistent full-time work, regular nights out and the opportunity to secure a long-term permanent position.

Requirements
Applicants must:
* Hold a valid *HGV Class 1 / Category C+E licence** Have a minimum of *12 months Class 1 driving experience** Be aged *21 or over** Have no more than *6 points* on their driving licence* Have *no DD or TT convictions** Hold a valid *Driver CPC** Hold a valid *Digital Tachograph Card** Be comfortable with *Monday to Friday tramping and regular nights out** Be comfortable carrying out furniture deliveries* Be happy to assist with two-person residential deliveries when required* Have a professional, reliable and flexible approach to work* Have a good understanding of Drivers’ Hours and Working Time regulations
Previous experience with furniture deliveries or nationwide general haulage would be advantageous but is not essential.
