required by a growing specialist business developing innovative automated equipment and technology for a range of advanced engineering applications!This is a varied, challenging role combining electrical engineering, controls and software, taking projects from initial design and development through to build, integration, testing and commissioningEssential:Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Control Engineering, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering or similarPractical experience with motors, drives, sensors and embedded controllersExperience with schematic capture and PCB design using KiCad, Altium or similarProgramming experience using Python, C or C++Hands-on experience building, wiring, testing or commissioning hardwareStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skillsNice-to-have:Experience with motion control, PLCs, industrial control systems, mechanical CAD or embedded Linux would be advantageous but is not essential.Tremendous opportunity offering plenty of scope for career progression in a friendly, collaborative environment with ongoing training where you’ll be able to develop your knowledge of the latest mechatronics, control and automation technologies!Apply now for FULL details!
