Urgent Hire – Digital Engineering Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Business Analyst to support the Digital Engineering & Delivery function and to support solutions across complex Aerospace and Defence programmes.

Location: UK – Hybrid – Reading

Experience: 5+ Years

Security Clearance: Active UK SC clearance (active or lapsed) mandatory

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary interface between Engineering and Digital Delivery teams.
• Elicit, analyse, and prioritise engineering needs for digital improvement.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into digital capabilities, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure alignment with engineering processes, safety considerations, and regulatory standards.
• Facilitate workshops, reviews, and decision-making activities.
• Maintain traceability across needs, solutions, validation, and delivered outcomes.
• Support digital engineering roadmaps, tool evaluation, process modelling, and data analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement in digital tools, automation, and standardisation.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
• 5+ years’ experience in software, systems, or digital engineering projects.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with digital engineering, workflow, or process-modelling tools.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, international teams.
