Overview
As Director in Fitch Ratings’ Funds & Asset Management group, you’ll lead credit analysis for funds and structured finance, shaping opinions that influence global markets. You work within a collaborative, cross-functional team to develop models, assess quantitative and qualitative factors, and publish research. This role offers exposure to industry trends, regulatory developments, and interaction with investors and fund managers, with opportunities to influence ratings and methodology at a global scale. Responsibilities
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative factors affecting credit quality of funds and structured transactions (e.g., portfolio analysis)
- Review legal documentation for transactions (indentures, prospectuses)
- Develop financial models and databases
- Participate in on-site due diligence review meetings with fund managers
- Present rating recommendations to committees
- Contribute to research on sector trends
- Engage in industry events and interact with investors, bankers, fund managers, and market participants
Key requirements
- Experience in finance with exposure to funds, structured finance transactions, or debt underwriting/lending
- University degree at least first level (Bachelor)
- Strong analytical skills
