Product Director – Billing & Payments

Overview

In this role you own the strategic heart of Kaluza’s platform for billing and payments, guiding the meter-to-cash landscape across geographies. You lead a team of product managers and analysts, shaping architecture and engaging clients and executives. You collaborate with engineering and commercial teams to deliver compliant, scalable solutions in a regulated energy environment. You drive cross-functional delivery and represent our capabilities in external discussions, influencing how energy retailers bill and collect revenue at scale. This is a high-impact leadership role with global scope and meaningful customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define and champion a clear product vision for Billing & Payments aligned with the global platform strategy
• Define functional architecture with Engineering leadership to ensure scalable, compliant modules across geographies
• Drive end-to-end product delivery and remove blockers to accelerate throughput
• Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, Finance, Pre-Sales, and Commercial teams to translate complex domain challenges into product solutions
• Externally represent the billing and payments capability to prospective clients and in commercial discussions
• Coach and develop Product Managers and Business Analysts
• Contribute to senior product leadership and shape how the Product organisation operates

Key requirements

• Significant senior product leadership experience, ideally Director level
• Deep expertise in billing, payments, or meter-to-cash in energy/utilities with knowledge of compliance and operational complexity
• Proven ability to define and execute product strategy across multiple geographies and regulatory environments
• Experience leading high-performing product teams and people leadership
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders including C-suite and external clients
• Experience at the intersection of product and architecture with high-level solution design discussions
