Overview

In this role you will oversee design delivery for a leading main contractor in Oxford, guiding technical aspects across multi-sector projects. You will work closely with regional teams to ensure robust design solutions for new builds and student accommodation. You’ll coordinate with design and construction stakeholders to manage risk, schedule, and quality, contributing to project success and regional growth. This is an opportunity to shape design processes on high-profile schemes and support delivery of projects up to 30m in value.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and support within a main contracting environment
• Lead design delivery for new build student accommodation and traditional housing projects
• Coordinate across design and construction teams to ensure timely, compliant solutions
• Utilise project management software to plan, monitor, and communicate progress

Key requirements

• Experience in a main contracting environment with design delivery oversight
• Track record on student accommodation or traditional build housing projects
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft programs
• Experience with 4Projects and/or Asta Powerproject is preferred
• Able to commute to Oxford daily
