Senior Analytics Manager – Credit Risk

In this role, you will lead analytics for Wise’s new credit products, partnering with product, engineering, and data science to ensure robust, explainable risk decisions. You’ll shape the credit analytics strategy, manage a growing team, and drive data-informed decisions that scale with the product. You’ll translate market insights into credit risk actions and influence market launch strategies across regions. Responsibilities

• Challenge and stress-test credit risk models with data science support for SME customers
• Incorporate market data and public SME finance data to validate modelling and decisions
• Develop forward-looking loss, delinquency, and write-off projections and link to product/risk decisions
• Collaborate with regional teams to inform go-to-market strategies
• Own the credit analytics data strategy including datasets, dashboards, definitions, and data quality
• Lead and develop a high-performing analytics team, including coaching, prioritisation, and hiring as needed

Key requirements

• 6+ years of data analytics experience with finance/risk/credit modelling experience
• Strong understanding of credit ecosystems and economics of different credit products
• SQL experience with large datasets and building data pipelines
• Structured, pragmatic approach to measurement and progress with imperfect information
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with cross-disciplinary influence
