Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire (with customer visits throughout the UK)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated sales representative with experience in the lifting equipment industry to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining relationships with existing clients. The Sales Representative will be responsible for prospecting, preparing quotations, following up opportunities, and delivering excellent customer service. You will leverage your technical knowledge of lifting equipment to advise customers on solutions that meet their needs while ensuring smooth and efficient sales processes.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the lifting equipment sector.
• Provide technical advice and support to customers, offering tailored solutions that meet their lifting and material handling requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with both existing and new clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Customer Support & Administration

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding product features, specifications, and availability.
• Process customer orders, track deliveries, and resolve any issues related to order fulfilment.
• Prepare quotations, contracts, and invoices.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in the lifting equipment industry.
• Strong understanding of lifting equipment, cranes, hoists, and material handling systems.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong customer relationships.
• Experience with sales processes, including lead generation, quoting, and process orders.
• Strong administrative skills and experience with SAP software (not essential) & Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid UK driver’s license and the ability to travel when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in the lifting or construction equipment industry.
• Technical certifications or training related to lifting equipment or safety industry such as LEEA
• Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards (LEEA, LOLER CE, etc.).
