Senior Author

Overview

As Senior Author, you will own end-to-end quality of strategic bid responses, collaborating with SMEs and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, compliant submissions. You’ll guide win themes, value propositions, and writing quality, while coordinating reviews with a Lead Author and Bid Manager. This role shapes bid strategy, ensures client alignment, and drives continuous improvement in response quality within a remote, UK-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide authors and SMEs through response development and quality reviews
• Incorporate win themes and value propositions into responses
• Coordinate storyboard and pink/red/gold review milestones with Lead Author and Bid Manager
• Translate feedback from reviews into improved responses and governance
• Support bid strategy development aligned to client scoring criteria and outcomes
• Drive continuous improvement, training, and alignment with strategic goals during review processes
