Trade Management Services Data Analyst – Assistant Vice President

Overview

In this role you will help drive the VARCITI trade cost analytics platform, delivering insights on trading costs and activity across global markets. You will partner with Front Office, Middle Office, Operations and Technology to translate business needs into actionable features and analytics. You will own cost calculations and volume reconciliation, contributing to platform evolution and data transparency. You will work with cross‑functional teams to identify improvements and enable stakeholders to make informed decisions. Responsibilities

• Lead development initiatives for the VARCITI trade cost analytics platform
• Design and deliver robust trade and cost analytics including volume profiling and expense trend identification
• Develop and refine reconciliation processes for trade expense analytics against invoices
• Partner with Front Office, Middle Office, Operations, and Technology to understand dependencies and design metrics
• Engage trading desks and senior stakeholders to promote platform capabilities and gather enhancement requirements
• Own trading cost fee calculations and volume reconciliation across multiple products
• Collaborate with technology teams to translate business requirements into timely feature releases
• Analyze enhancement opportunities to increase transparency and accuracy in cost reporting
• Gather and document requirements for new metrics, reporting enhancements, and onboarding requests

Key requirements

• Intermediate experience in a fast-paced business environment with focus on technology or financial analysis
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Knowledge of trade flow processes and systems preferred
• Knowledge of Fixed Income, Commodities, and Equities products preferred
• Proven track record identifying inefficiencies and implementing process improvements in data/analytical workflows
• Advanced SQL proficiency
• Experience with data visualization tools (QlikView, Tableau or similar)
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree (required)
