Automation Test Engineer – AI

Overview

As an AI Quality Engineer at Accenture, you will lead AI-driven testing within secure, cloud-enabled environments. You’ll champion Shift Left practices, embed AI-powered quality across the SDLC, and drive autonomous test agents and data-driven insights to accelerate delivery. You’ll work with cross-functional teams on complex, regulated client environments to improve speed, accuracy and scalability of testing. This is a chance to shape modern QA with AI, cloud-native tooling and secure design principles.

Responsibilities

• Embed Shift Left and AI-assisted quality practice during requirements and design to prevent defects
• Perform intelligent exploratory testing using AI-driven insights to identify risks and edge cases
• Develop and maintain modular automated test frameworks using OOP with Java or Python
• Leverage cloud environments (AWS/GCP) for cloud-native test execution and data pipelines
• Design and experiment with Agentic AI testing solutions including autonomous test agents and AI-driven defect prediction
• Improve client delivery with AI insights to speed up deployment and enhance quality
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to strengthen feedback loops between developers, product owners and stakeholders

Key requirements

• 2+ years in Quality Engineering or Technical Testing
• Experience in Shift Left approaches and AI-assisted analysis
• Manual and exploratory testing experience; able to design test charters
• Strong OOP knowledge with Java or Python
• Hands-on with automation tools (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress)
• Exposure to AI-based testing tools, self-healing automation or ML feedback loops
• Experience with REST API testing (Postman or similar)
• Desirable: AWS or GCP experience; autonomous testing agents or AI tooling familiarity
