Technical Lead .Net Development

Overview

As a .NET / C# Technical Lead, you will steer the design and delivery of scalable backend services in a financial software platform. You will lead a backend team, drive architecture decisions, and ensure performance, security, and reliability. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate business needs into robust solutions. This role combines hands-on coding with mentorship and technical leadership, offering impact through shaping platform capabilities and engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and maintenance of .NET / .NET Core applications using microservices
• Drive solution architecture decisions for scalability, reliability, and security
• Lead and mentor a team of backend developers
• Build scalable backend services with focus on performance, reliability, and security
• Ensure clean code and adherence to OOP, SOLID, design patterns, and best practices
• Guide multithreading and asynchronous programming for high-performance modules
• Lead code reviews and enforce standards to maintain code quality
• Mentor teammates to improve delivery effectiveness
• Coordinate and participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Grooming, Retrospectives)
• Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, architects, DevOps and cross-functional teams to deliver features on time
• Assist with task planning, prioritization, workload distribution, and risk management
• Utilize Jira, Git, and CI/CD pipelines for delivery tracking and automation
• Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and drive short-term and long-term improvements
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, drive engineering best practices, and reduce technical debt
• Own technical delivery and align business goals with engineering solutions

Key requirements

• Strong hands-on proficiency in .NET, .NET Core, C#, MS SQL Server, and T-SQL
• Proven experience in a technical leadership role
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Experience with cloud platforms and containerized environments
• Excellent knowledge of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns
• Experience with multithreading, asynchronous programming, and performance optimization
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to lead by example with a hands-on approach
• Ability to drive process improvements and team efficiency
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
