Supply Chain Consultant – Defence & Security

Overview

In this role you will help Defence clients optimize supply chains and logistics, delivering high-impact transformation projects that drive value for money. You’ll work with cross‑functional teams to develop strategies, implement solutions, and harness data and technology to modernize processes. The role combines deep domain knowledge with hands-on delivery on both public and private sector engagements, offering opportunities to shape the Defence Supply Chain practice. You’ll collaborate closely with clients and contribute to business development in a fast-paced, global environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-impact consulting projects in Defence supply chains and logistics
• Develop innovative strategies to transform client organisations’ supply chain teams
• Implement solutions that drive business value and efficiency in supply chains
• Engage with Defence sector clients to understand needs and challenges
• Lead and support change initiatives in multifaceted stakeholder environments
• Contribute to expansion of PA Defence Supply Chain offerings and business development

Key requirements

• Strong industrial supply chain and logistics experience across planning, operations, and development
• Extensive knowledge of Defence or adjacent sector supply chains
• Ability to navigate complex supply chain processes to deliver value for money
• Experience leading and supporting change initiatives with multiple stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with creative solution development
• Collaborative work style in fast-paced environments
• CIPS MCIPS CILT or equivalent qualifications are preferable
• Ability to transfer skills to new supply chain transformation projects
• Prior consulting experience preferred
• Supply chain design and resilience assessment experience is highly desirable
